  • Gaia gets gradient font, borders

In preparation for the NINJA3 patching format, I’ve been dusting off my old projects to make some finishing touches. Crest of Gaia, surprisingly, has received the bulk of my touch up work.

The updates to the game add support for a thin, gradient font, drop shadows, a new title screen, better window borders, more colors and a freshly edited script.

All it needs now is testers.

While finished and probably stable enough to release, I am not going to release it now. The translation will be released exclusively in NINJA3 format, which, at the moment, does not exist.

byuu and I have a lot of work to do before that happens, and for me, most of that work involves libPirate. I know that damn library has delayed everything several years now, but trust me, in the end it will all have been worth it.

In the mean time, anyone who would like to help test things would certainly be welcomed. See my Colophon page for contact information. You can e-mail me or message me on any messaging client and I will get back to you with a patch.

Basically, I am just looking for overall impressions. If you can think of anything that could be better, just tell me and I will do my best to implement it.

    Thanks!
