he new translation patch for Der Langrisser is finally ready. This version fixes two more bugs in the original Japanese version of the game, rewrites several scenes that were poorly translated due to not knowing the speaking characters and enables Demons, a dummied-out hireable unit.
You can download the new patch from the Langrisser Projects blog.
This new patch is distributed in byuu’s new UPS patch format. It is a replacement to the limited IPS format, and will be the Vorbis to NINJA3’s Ogg. A Windows version of the patcher is available from byuu’s page, and a Linux version is available from the CinnamonPirate.com Ubuntu repository. daemoncollector has released an OS X-based patcher for Cocoa.
Interesting choice of release date…

Hi!,
Basically, I don’t know where to find the fully translated ROM of Der Langrisser. I’ve been browsing for 3 hours now and, repeatedly, reading words which are uncommon to me (programming stuffs, I’m illiterate to those) in your sister site http://projects.elsallia.com and http://byuu.org.
The site, against my own will, tagged me to byuu’s site, the one with the UPS patch thing, and here is where my whole problem starts. I don’t know where to find this UPS patch although I found an OS X patch thing but, in doing so, I raised two questions. Is it the UPS? and, What the hell is kernel?. Sorry for wasting your time since, as stated earlier, I’m completely illiterate in the computer programming language. Thanks for the time.
Go to the Langrisser Projects Blog and look on the right side of the page. You will see “Der Langrisser Translation”. Look below that and you will see “Downloads”. Click downloads. Download the UPS file. Download byuu’s UPS patcher. Run it. Select the UPS file. Select your Der Langrisser ROM. Click patch. Profit.
