天地都在我心中

Ok, I confess, I haven’t done anything since last week.

I spent the first half of the week cleaning. During the middle of the week, relatives were visiting so I spent time with them. Friday I didn’t really move much since I drank half a bottle of tequila in the afternoon, then dragged myself up the street to view some pyrotechnics. Then, as I was about to get back to finishing Langrisser I, Lonely Knight introduced me to 射雕英雄传 (also known as The Legend of Condor Heroes).

There went the next two weeks.

After watching the intro for the TV show almost 400 times in a row, I went and purchased the DVD box set which will be in my hands in two weeks. But that wasn’t enough. I went hunting for the books.

TechMaster was kind enough to find me this site which has the entire trilogy in text format. I have been reading non-stop now for over a day, which, with my current Chinese experience, puts me half-way through chapter four.

This book really, really kicks ass and will likely turn me into a wuxia novel junkie from now on. I strongly recommend taking a look if you haven’t read it and either speak Chinese or are learning the language like me.

I’ll try to get around to finishing Langrisser I some time–honestly! If nothing else, maybe working through this will help me with my Chinese enough to really put some more serious effort into finishing Heroine Anthem: The Elect of Wassernixie.

Speaking of which, WindThunder will finally be releasing Heroine Anthem II: The Angel of Sarem for sale on July 16!
