Commercial for the LSF translation
Jacky put together a commercial for the translated version of LSF. It’s 22MB and 6 minutes long. It looks a little choppy in parts but it should give people an idea of what the game is like.
- lsf.wmv — 22.0MB@waiss.name (source)
- lsf.wmv — 22.0MB@mofile.com (mirror)
- lsf.avi — 81.0MB@mofile.com (source)
- lsf.wmv — 22.0MB@oakland.edu (mirror)
Also, he has moved his project blog to a blog-city account after blog.com started acting up. Blog.com has been reporting bandwidth exceed errors that last 7 days even though it should have reset with the start of the month.
Currently I don’t know if he’s planning to move the old entries to the new blog with backdating or not. It’s really up to him. I’m just an editor.
Yes, there are a couple grammar errors in this video (enemies’, for one), it was edited together at last minute using the automated preview scenes from the end of the demo. Since these are auto-advancing windows, the translation was trimmed down a little. The actual scenes will be more detailed.
And yes, the font is not a typical game font. I based it on the uncial alphabet of the 12th century because it’s a simple hand to read and it lends itself well to the game’s ancient setting, even set in a different culture.
Edit: OK, it seems his blog.com page is working again … I really have no idea so I’ll leave the link as it is until I hear from Jacky.
