Dear Hu Jintao

Please crush and destroy Taiwan province.

The island’s evil separatist government is why my Internet is still broken after over one month. I cannot even FTP into my Web site and no longer have any route to Gmail.

I openly support any military effort necessary to restore my Internet connection, and to deny those evil separatist-backed companies access to control of the trans-pacific internet cables.

Sorry, you’ve lost me… how is Taiwan’s government responsible for the earthquake damage to 5 of the 7 international deep-sea trans-Pacific cables ?

Taiwan is responsible because it’s done nothing to fix how its internet cables have knocked out the entire trans-pacific pipeline and cut off net access to the western hemisphere for all of Asia. It also allowed the cables to be laid over a fucking fault line in the first place.

If you won’t do your job, step aside and let someone else who WILL get it done.

Hilariously enough, the quake happened a while back- and the estimated time for repair was 2 or so weeks. It’s been nearly a month since they were knocked out, and repair efforts have been done with (supposedly?) sub-par equipment and untrained workers. If I recall correctly, the cables that weren’t damaged/systems that weren’t damaged are the ones that support the country itself, aren’t they? Somehow, Perhaps think the repairs are purposely going badly as some sort of “revenge” on the mainland? Somehow, I would find that to be pretty funny- the world’s first attack through “internet deprivation”.

You are a moron. Period. It’s not even close to the most Chinese nation–that award goes to Singapore. Secondly, it’s never been independant. It’s been, at best, a US military base on Chinese territory under the dictatorship of a US-backed maniac who was only trust into power because the USA was batshit afraid of communism in the 1950s.
