Debian package for Bless

One of the most lacking kinds of applications on Linux — aside from page layout software (Scribus sucks) — is hex editors. The only halfway descent one around, Bless, never distributes binaries. Like most Linux software, its source also refuses to compile without a specific version of GCC.

Huzzah!

Anyway, Ubuntu Forums user loko has released a Debian package for Bless 0.5.1, the latest, which works very well. You just need to install Mono first. One easy way to get mono is to `apt-get install banshee`, a Mono-based music player.

Since he made the package using checkinstall, it will not resolve dependencies on its own. However, from my experience, Mono is the only dependency. Enjoy!
