GDLIB example

In case anyone wants it, I put up my Langrisser I and II PC map dumper on the Scripts page. It shows how to use GDLIB to cut slices out of a tile set to plug them into a complete map.
You could probably adapt it to dump maps from console games or even RPG Maker stuff. You would just need to figure out how the map data is stored and write a few lines to parse it.
The tile set needs to be a PNG.
Happy New Year

Maybe this one actually will be. I just got an email from Mike Melanson, you may remember I emailed him about Heroine Anthem’s W1VF fun a while ago. Here’s his reply.
The guru on the FFmpeg project just added a fix for the WV1F interframes (it came down to skipping a few bits in the header, the rest is unchanged). The frames are still upside down. But since you are building a custom app, that should not be an issue.
Have fun…
